CONDITIONS OF SALE BY TENDER
A sample drawn under the supervision of the A.W.T.A. for each lot of wool
sold will be retained by Bryton Wool Canowindra for a period of 12 weeks
from sale date.
Catalogues are available upon request from the seller or showfloor on Monday of sale week.
3.1 All bids must be lodged prior to 11:00am on the Thursday of selling week.
5.1 Subject to the bid reaching the reserve price, each lot will be sold to the tender who
has submitted the highest bid.
6.1 All payments are to be effected within (8) eight days of the date of sale.
The purchaser can examine any portion of the bulk purchased by him during ordinary working hours
of the three (3) working days immediately following the sale date.
Except for any claim lodged in accordance with the wool selling regulations, no claims will be
accepted unless lodged within five (5) working days immediately following the sale date. Any
claims lodged will be treated in accordance with the wool selling regulations.
9.1 To be effected after receipt of payment of an acceptable form of delivery instruction issued
by or with the signed approval of the purchaser.
Storage will be charged on all wool at the rate of 15c per bale per day. Storage charges will commence
on the Friday immediately following the week during which the wool was sold.
The seller will insure and keep insured against loss or damage by fire or any other cause from the date of sale until
payment has been received.
Where the conditions of sale promulgated by the joint wool selling organisation have not
been specifically over-ridden by those above, those conditions of sale shall apply.

3.3 Bids cannot be withdrawn after 12:30pm on date of sale.
Where a grower has placed a reserve price on wool available for sale, such reserve will be
available upon request after 9:00am on date of sale.
5.2 The highest bid is herewith determined to be no more than once (1c) above the second highest bidder.
5.3 Purchasers will be advised as soon as possible after 12:30pm on sale day.
5.4 A tenderer may, at the time of lodging the bids, advise discretion to be utilised to
increase his bid in the event of two or more parties tendering the same bid.
5.5 In the event of two or more parties lodging the same bid, and where any advised discretion
cannot break the deadlock, the purchaser will be the party who first lodged the highest bid.
5.6 The purchaser will pay the seller a BSC (Buyers Service Charge). This service will be charged
at the rate of $4.80 per bale, plus $7.50 freight to Sydney. The latter is refundable if the purchaser
wishes to use his own transport.
5.7 Upon receipt of payment of the invoice amount, delivery will be effective by the seller
to any point in Sydney. If delivery to any other place is requested, an additional charge may
be payable by the purchaser.
6.2 Payments may be by telegraphic transfer, or by bank cheque sent directly to the seller.
6.3 No wool will be delivered until payment has been received.
6.4 If payment is made prior to expiration of the 8 days stipulated above, the invoice value
may be appropriately reduced by a discount rate of 7%, with a maximum discount of 7days.
9.2 In the event of strikes precluding the seller from delivering wools as requested, or the
purchaser from shipping his wool, the matters will be treated in accordance with the wool
selling regulations.
