OUR HISTORY

Bryton Wool has served New South Wales as a family owned and operated establishment since 1973. For its first twenty years of operation, the company grew and adapted to the fast-changing wool market.

In the early 1990s, Geoffrey and Sue Beath entered the business and have worked hard to build Bryton Wool into New South Wales’ largest family owned wool business. This is due to holding and keeping family values. Their improvements included opening a store at Young and working with Dave Walsh,  purchasing MACARR Wools in Crookwell and then in 2017 opened a store in Forbes at Peter Maher Wool Services , Bryton Wool now has four centres from which to serve the needs of customers throughout the region. By 2018, we proudly handled over 27,000 bales.
